What's up! ✌️ Trump won in a landslide victory. And let’s be honest, without social media, it might not have been possible. If he had tried to rely on TV ads or billboards alone, it would've been outpaced in seconds by social media. But this isn't just for elections, small businesses are reporting that they see 78% more revenue from digital ads than traditional ones. Back when I was doing sales, I watched firsthand as online marketing completely changed customer behavior and expectations. People used to come into the store with a bunch of questions, ready to spend a few hours learning everything on-site. But quickly, they started coming in with pre-formed opinions based on what they'd already seen online. They’d done their research, compared prices, and even learned about product features from social media before stepping through the door. We had to adapt - fast. Not only to answer their questions but to add real value beyond what they could find online. Digital marketing didn’t just help attract more customers; it changed the entire sales process, building engagement and loyalty even before a customer ever met us. And now, in 2024, that trend has only intensified. The question is, how do you make sure your business is ready to keep up? Here are 3 strategies I’ve seen work time and time again: 1. Relate and Repeat For Trump, it was immigration and inflation. For your business, it might be safety, convenience, or value. Make those issues the core of your message and keep them front and center. If this sounds complicated Reader, don’t worry. It’s a skill like any other, something you can learn. It’s why I created Video on Easy Mode. 2. Use the Right Channel Find the channels where your audience already hangs out. For some businesses, this might mean partnering with podcasts or local social accounts that align with your audience’s interests. 3. Leverage Influencer Marketing For your brand, think about bringing in trusted team members, clients, or local influencers to showcase what you offer. People relate to real faces, they’re memorable, and they build trust. The world is changing fast, and an online presence has become essential. Start small, but start now. Try just one of these tips this week and see how it changes your reach. P.S. As someone who started in face-to-face sales, here's what I know: Promoting my business with videos is the most fun I’ve had. You're constantly on the lookout for interesting opinions or new insights. You’re rewarded for following your curiosity and helping your audience along the way. And best of all, you’re consistently creatively engaged. Obviously, it’s highly profitable too, or I wouldn't be doing it. Let me help you do it on easy mode 🤘🏼That's Dope

Elevating founders with social video. I'll put your video on "easy mode" and drive revenue on LinkedIn and beyond.
Most people think having more views and followers on LinkedIn and social media will make you more money. And it makes sense because that’s what you’re being told all day, every day, by all the influencers and growth hackers. They fool you into believing that when you reach hundreds of thousands of people a day, you’ll have passive income rolling in, while you sit on the couch eating bonbons and watching Netflix. And this bullshit advice leads you to… Feel pressured to post 3x a day Make...
Look Reader, I know you didn’t start your business to become a content creator. But if you want to stand out from your competitors and attract new clients, you can’t ignore content. The good news? Your content doesn’t have to be boring, or overwhelming to create. I had a client, an architect who once told me:"I didn’t get into architecture to make TikToks. But now, I feel like I have to just to get noticed." He wasn’t wrong. Without good content, it’s hard to stand out. But here’s the thing:...
Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that can feel like a marathon. Big dinners, big plans, big expectations. But this year, I’m keeping it simple. Since we moved, it’s just the four of us - me, my wife, and the kids. Low-key. No hustle. Just us making some pumpkin pie together. I bring this up because the holidays bring out two versions of us: the hustler and the human. The hustler is busy wrapping up projects, making plans, and - if you’re on LinkedIn - feeling like you need to post every...
