What's up! ✌️ Ever wonder how often you should be posting videos on LinkedIn? It’s a question I get all the time, especially after posting over 400 videos myself. Let me be honest, it’d be easy to say “Post 3 times a week and call it a day.” But that’s not really how it works. The answer depends on more than just a number. It’s about finding the right balance between quality and quantity that works for you and your business. Let’s break it down: More is Always Better—With a Catch The more people see your face and hear your voice, the more familiar you become to them. And that familiarity builds trust. More trust equals more people wanting to work with you. Pretty straightforward, right? But here’s the catch: don’t sacrifice quality just to post more. The real question you should be asking yourself is, “How many high-quality videos can I realistically create on a regular basis?” Find Your Content Creation Sweet Spot Think about it: how long does it take you to create a video from start to finish? I’m talking about the whole process—research, filming, editing, writing captions, the works. Once you know that, you can figure out how much time you can dedicate to making videos each week. Say it takes you 1 hour to make a video, and you’ve got 2 hours a week to spare. That’s 2 videos a week—nice and simple. (Or you can join Video on Easy Mode and get a months worth of videos made in 1 hour) If you hand off some of the work, like editing, you could double your output. 2 videos turn into 4, all in the same time. Now you’re maximizing your efficiency without cutting corners. Don’t Ditch Your Written Content Here’s something important: you don’t have to replace all your written content with video. My mentor always says, “It’s ‘and,’ not ‘or,’ Danny.” Meaning, it’s not about choosing one or the other—it’s about incorporating video into your strategy alongside your written content. So if you’re just getting started with video, try adding 2 videos a week alongside your written posts. As you get better at creating video content and your audience starts loving it, you can bump that number up to 3, 4, or even 7 videos a week. Make Engagement a Priority One last thing: as you post more content, make sure you’re factoring in time for engagement. It’s not enough to just throw content out there—you’ve got to turn those comments and likes into conversations. That’s where the real connection happens, and that’s how your content drives results. I call Nat Berman the most generous man on LinkedIn. And after our conversation yesterday, I finally understand why. This homey used to spend 6-8 hours a day commenting on LinkedIn. 500+ comments daily. Until LinkedIn started thinking he was a bot. But here's what’s really wild… In 5 years of daily posting, he's had exactly ONE post go over 100,000 views. Yet he's built a 7-figure business. How? T-shirts. Nat only wears 80s and 90s movie t-shirts. Breakfast Club. Ferris Bueller. The Goonies....
I was planning on using this weekend to relax and recharge. But since it poured buckets on Saturday and my kids went to a birthday party, I decided to build something special for you. So far this year, I've had 168 sales meetings with founders and experts. And one piece of information that I learn from every call is... Their No. 1 biggest frustration with content. And there are 2 problems that come up more than others: 1- Never knowing what to post 2- Creating content that doesn't convert I...
3 years ago today, I was in a pretty dark place 100 pounds overweight. Emptying my 401k just to cover the mortgage. Stressed beyond belief because I was failing to provide for my family. So naturally, I did what any rational person would do... I quit my job. I moved my family across the country and went all-in on myself. Everyone thought I'd lost it. (Including my parents) But here's what happened next: I built a $700k solo business (zero employees) Dropped 100 pounds Took my first family...
