How often should you be posting videos on LinkedIn?

What's up! ✌️

Ever wonder how often you should be posting videos on LinkedIn?

It’s a question I get all the time, especially after posting over 400 videos myself.

Let me be honest, it’d be easy to say “Post 3 times a week and call it a day.”

But that’s not really how it works.

The answer depends on more than just a number.

It’s about finding the right balance between quality and quantity that works for you and your business.

Let’s break it down:

More is Always Better—With a Catch

The more people see your face and hear your voice, the more familiar you become to them.

And that familiarity builds trust.

More trust equals more people wanting to work with you.

Pretty straightforward, right?

But here’s the catch: don’t sacrifice quality just to post more.

The real question you should be asking yourself is, “How many high-quality videos can I realistically create on a regular basis?”

Find Your Content Creation Sweet Spot

Think about it: how long does it take you to create a video from start to finish?

I’m talking about the whole process—research, filming, editing, writing captions, the works.

Once you know that, you can figure out how much time you can dedicate to making videos each week.

Say it takes you 1 hour to make a video, and you’ve got 2 hours a week to spare.

That’s 2 videos a week—nice and simple.

(Or you can join Video on Easy Mode and get a months worth of videos made in 1 hour)

If you hand off some of the work, like editing, you could double your output.

2 videos turn into 4, all in the same time.

Now you’re maximizing your efficiency without cutting corners.

Don’t Ditch Your Written Content

Here’s something important: you don’t have to replace all your written content with video.

My mentor always says, “It’s ‘and,’ not ‘or,’ Danny.”

Meaning, it’s not about choosing one or the other—it’s about incorporating video into your strategy alongside your written content.

So if you’re just getting started with video, try adding 2 videos a week alongside your written posts.

As you get better at creating video content and your audience starts loving it, you can bump that number up to 3, 4, or even 7 videos a week.

Make Engagement a Priority

One last thing: as you post more content, make sure you’re factoring in time for engagement.

It’s not enough to just throw content out there—you’ve got to turn those comments and likes into conversations.

That’s where the real connection happens, and that’s how your content drives results.

TLDR; Catch the full video here.

At some point in our businesses, we’ve all worked with a client who SUCKS. Every time they message you or their name pops up in your calendar, it literally sucks the life out of you. And we’d do just about anything to avoid having another client like that. One of my best homies has mastered the art of ONLY landing dream clients. His name is Moe Choice. And his secret? He really doesn’t care what other people think of him. A lot of people don’t like Moe. They don’t like his ranting. They don’t...

In 2015, I had an engaged audience of 500,000 listeners for my podcast... BUT I made $0. I had no idea how to MONETIZE my content. Over 3 years running a content agency and consultancy, I’ve spoken with hundreds of business owners about creating content. In fact, I actually asked 319 of them what their biggest challenge is... No. 1 Answer: My content doesn’t bring in business No. 2 Answer: It takes way too much time to produce. Nothing else is even close. I set out to build a solution that...

I'm 42 years old, and I have $0 saved for retirement. 😬 Most financial advisors would probably judge me and run in the opposite direction. What they don't know is that: I emptied out my savings to pay off my wife's student loans so we can afford to buy our first home. I emptied it out again to keep the lights on for my family while I was building my business. When I told this Derek Coburn, he didn't judge me at all. He APPLAUDED me. Because Derek has a very different perspective on...
