What's up! ✌️ So, I accidentally started a new business. (And it couldn't have come at a better time—thanks to a hefty bill from the tax man!) 😬 Here’s how it all went down... A good friend of mine, Adam, asked me to help him out. He’d tried using some of those automated tools to get video testimonials from his clients, but let’s just say... they sucked. The truth is that automated tools are convenient, but they will never capture the personal touch that gets you the most valuable stories. The stories that build trust, increase engagement, and convert. On top of that, out of all the clients who promised they’d leave a testimonial, only 20% followed through. Knowing that I’ve interviewed hundreds of people on video, Adam figured I could step in and get the job done right. And guess what? I did. 😎 I interviewed five of his clients, and my team turned those interviews into six polished videos. In just 30 days, Adam’s sales shot up by 30%. That’s how Testimonials on Easy Mode was born. I go to the gym every morning. Part of my workout is a 30-40 minute cardio session. I used to do the treadmill, but I hurt my ankle, so I've been on the elliptical. (I'm getting old.) 😢 For the last 3 years, while I do cardio, I've been watching TV shows. I decided to change that up this year. Started last week. Instead of TV shows, I've been watching YouTube videos. All stuff related to my business. How to create better content, how to generate more leads, trends in the social media world I...
99% of business owners I speak to are terrified to niche down. They think that if they get too specific, they'll miss out on sales. Miss out on opportunities. That nobody will see or interact with their content. I get it. It feels risky. But with social media getting more saturated and growth getting harder (especially on LinkedIn), being hyper-niche is actually an unfair advantage, not a concern. Let me explain. If you've ever been to the Carolinas, you've probably seen Cheerwine. It's a...
I just saw this video on social media trends for 2026. No surprise. The number one topic? AI. But here's what I found most interesting... People's resistance towards AI content. Which is ironic. Everybody wants to use AI to go faster. But then they turn around and complain about consuming content that was generated by AI. One of my favorite social media marketing experts, with over a million followers and a billion views, was breaking content into two buckets: AI and human. His advice? Go all...
